Chapter Grant Program

Beginning May 1, 2026, the Chapter Grant Program is available to all chapters in good standing, supports activities and initiatives that advance the defense financial management profession, and aligns with SDFM’s national priorities. The program replaces the Chapter Rebates Program that concluded on December 31, 2025.

Under the new program, chapters may apply for funding to support qualifying initiatives, including:

  • Professional development and educational programs
  • Member engagement and outreach activities
  • Strategic partnerships aligned with SDFM’s mission
  • Marketing, recruitment, and chapter capacity building efforts
  • Technology or operational enhancements that directly support program delivery
  • Professional community support to students, early career, and military segments
  • Chapter revitalization efforts and leadership support

Chapters can submit retroactively for events that took place from January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026. For retroactive events, the applications must be submitted by May 31, 2026.
