Overview

Join SDFM in supporting Manna House, a local nonprofit providing food, hygiene items, baby supplies, and household necessities for individuals and families in need throughout the Huntsville area. DFMI Huntsville attendees are invited to participate in hands‑on volunteer shifts during Manna House’s Nightly Distribution operations.

Volunteers may assist with sorting, stocking, preparing items, and helping community members during distribution. Shifts are flexible, and participants may volunteer for one or more segments.

Volunteer Schedule – Monday, February 23

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Stocking shelves
  • Sorting donated items
  • Preparing food and household supplies for distribution

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Assisting with grocery, food, toiletry, and diaper distribution
  • Supporting the clothing closet
  • Helping in the children’s library area

Volunteer shifts are typically 1 hour or longer.
