Joe Diana is a Portfolio Manager for Army Materiel Command and Air Force Material Command programs. He joined CALIBRE Systems, Inc., of Alexandria Virginia in 2010. Joe leads a team of 30 supporting Defense Working Capital Funds (WCF) training and analytics. His team has provided WCF support to the Army, Air Force, Navy, USTRANSCOM, Space Force, and Defense Information Systems Agency. His team delivers 70 training events per year providing education to over 1,000 military and civilian leaders involved in running WCF activities. His team also supports the development of the annual Army WCF Supply Budget for a wholesale inventory of over 10,000 items and $6B in annual revenue.
Prior to joining CALIBRE, he served 25 years in the Air Force as an aircraft and munitions maintenance officer. He held a variety of leadership positions to include squadron and group command. In addition to his time in the field, Joe spent 4 years on the Air Staff working a variety of programming and policy issues. He was directly responsible for building and defending the Air Force logistics budget. In this role he developed and defended a $19 Billion annual portfolio that included depot and contractor logistics support for 87 different weapon systems. He also served as the executive assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Air Force Installations, Logistics and Maintenance (HAF/A4/7) and as the aid-de-camp for Commander USPACOM.
Mr. Diana has an MS degree in Strategy from Air War College, an MS degree in Business from Troy State University, and a BS from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
