Brad Weldon

Brad currently serves as Vice President of Growth and Strategy within Groundswell’s Appian practice. A former SES Budget Officer (Acting) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Brad led the agency’s comprehensive budget planning and execution operations for a portfolio exceeding $32 billion. He collaborated closely with senior leadership at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on high-impact initiatives, including the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Brad also directed the development of a full lifecycle budget solution, enhancing the agency’s capabilities across formulation, planning, and execution phases.
